DIA Beacon, Located in a former Nabisco box-printing factory, Dia Beacon presents collections of art from the 1960s to the present as well as special exhibitions and public programs.
Dia Beacon provides public tours every Saturday and Sunday at 12pm and 1:30pm. Tours are free with admission.
Howland Cultural Center
The non-profit Howland Cultural Center is the 'Jewel of Beacon’ fostering arts and culture since 1979. The Howland Cultural Center has earned its reputation for its exceptional acoustics and gallery. The galley is open free to the public during weekends and by appointment. The Hudson River City of Beacon continues to enjoy a revitalization and has become a magnet for artists and creatives of all kinds.
Madam Brett & Long Dock Parks
Named after Catheryna Rombout Brett -- who, along with her husband, Roger, were the first European settlers in present-day Beacon -- Madam Brett Park features 12 acres on the banks of Fishkill Creek, along which once stood a gristmill owned by Madam Brett.
Long Dock Park in Beacon is one of the most scenic and accessible parks in the Hudson Valley. Amazing views along all points of the Hudson River, with tranquil walking trails that goes for miles. Located on the banks of the Hudson River right next to the Beacon train station, Long Dock Park offers spectacular views of the river, and the Hudson Highlands.
